What Happened to Alexander French's Charges of Assault 2, Assault 4 and Robbery? Why does the Port Townsend Police Say they sent the case to Jefferson County Prosecutors, yet prosecutors say the did not get it ?

Port Townsend Police Chief Thomas Olson Email claiming that he sent the Alex French charges for Robbery 2nd Degree, Attempted Robbery 2nd Degree, Attempted Theft 2nd Degree, Theft 3rd Degree, and Assault 4th Degree from the Amy Sousa Press Conference on August 15th 2022. Yet for Some Reason Prosecutor Ashcraft did not seem to get the information

“I am responding to your public comments email dated October 3rd.

Were you aware that we arrested and booked the suspect from your complaint of being assaulted on August 15th? On September 3rd, Alexander French was arrested by the Port Townsend Police Department and booked into the Jefferson County Jail for the August 15th incident. The Port Townsend Police requested that the Jefferson County Prosecutor charge French with Robbery 2nd Degree, Attempted Robbery 2nd Degree, Attempted Theft 2nd Degree, Theft 3rd Degree, and Assault 4th Degree. The police only refer the charges based on the evidence that they collect. Ultimately, it is the Prosecutor’s Office that determines what charges will or won’t actually be filed. I have requested an update on your case but I have not heard back from them.

As of September 3rd, your case was sent to the Prosecutor’s Office and is out of our hands. I would encourage you reach out to the crime victim advocate with the Jefferson County Prosecutor’s Office. Please let me know if you have any further questions that I can assist you with.

“I did speak to Chris Ashcraft who filled me in a bit on what the status is. He did state that law

enforcement did not forward a case regarding you as a victim to our office. He states that

So what happened to Alex French’s charges for “Robbery 2nd Degree, Attempted Robbery 2nd Degree, Attempted Theft 2nd Degree, Theft 3rd Degree, and Assault 4th Degree” that Port Townsend Police Chief Tom Olson Discusses in the above eMail? Did the Mayors Law Firm Feinson and Faber cook up a deal with “El Jeffe” (Jefferson County Attorney James Kennedy) via Prosecutor Chris Ashcraft, to sweep all those assaults and robbery under the magic rug?

 What Happened to the Criminals that Committed ALL those Assaults on ALL those Victims? Well ya see the Port Townsend Police swept it all under the rug and are trying NOT to prosecute anyone for Assault. The Jefferson County Prosecutors seem to think that is a good idea. I, however, DO NOT. If you think what happened to us at the #LetJulieSwim Press Conference was A-oK then you are ok with it happening at any Event in Port Townsend on any given day to anyone. Even an assault on an Officer swept away with Magic Corruption Political Erasure. Here is an email from Officer Jon Stuart clarifying the incidents, and talking about assaults, robbery and property damage. All this GONE, swept under the Port Townsend Political Rug by the FIXERS. Oh well not much you can do about the failure to prosecute crimes and selective prosecution here in Jefferson County Washington. However, what I can do is provide the public with Transparency. The TRUTH is the Justice when the Justice System protects the LIE.

"All, I would like to clarify on the reporting of the incidents downtown the other night, 08/15/2022.

Case #22-4448 should be utilized for the incident involving Alex French and Ryan Harris. This was

one fluid event, Officers entered the crowd due to French’s behavior of assaulting people, trying to

unplug the PA system and stealing a shoe by force (robbery). Officer Sharif attempted to intervene

and stop French when French Fled, it was during this attempted intervention when Harris grabbed

Officer Sharif. This should be one incident.

Officer Titterness completed the original report and attached Harris, I believe Officer Sharif has

added French to his supplement report. If you are dealing with multiple victims please attach them

in your supplement reports as they come in and relate to the specific offenses/suspects. After

seeing some social media videos, there are potentially multiple victims of assault by French and

Harris just prior to LE intervention, we will need to work on identifying them. Further discussions

can be had on who will be doing this.

Anything that happened outside of this incident should be reported with a separate incident

number.

Jefferson County Prosecutors and Port Townsend Mayors Law Firm Cooking up a Deal to Contain a Story that makes the City of Port Townsend Look VERY bad, oh and the Liability right.

Clearly Mayor David Faber, one of the Straight Port Townsend Men who incited a violent mob to suppress our speech, shut down our voice, harass, assault and attack us, while the Port Townsend Police Chief watched, well he did not want all that Evidence going to Trial. Sam Feinson, of Feinson and Faber Law Firm Port Townsend, represented the man who assaulted us, Alex French, in court and clearly manipulated the courts to shut down a trial.

I wonder if Alex was really ok with all this? The Mayor doesn’t want to look worse than he already does. The City calling our assault a “mosh pit”, our attack “grievances”. Alex French pleaded guilty to protect the City of Port Townsend from “volume of eyewitnesses, photos, and videos that might come into play” ?  Hmmm..

“Hi Chris,

While I wouldn't mind talking about mosh pits during voir dire, this seems like a case that should not go to trial. The volume of eyewitnesses, photos, and videos that might come into play are significant, and I don't think anyone wants to rehash the grievances either "side" in those protests may have against the other.

We propose a 12-month continuance for dismissal. Mr. French would be happy to do a amount of community service you deem reasonable as a condition. He has no problem staying away from Julie Jaman, as well.

It looks like the court also has a few more months of jurisdiction on his 2017 DUI. We'd hope that the State would agree to take no action on that case.

Jefferson County Deputy Prosecutor Chris Ashcraft says we have a deal, and well he will run it by “el jeffe”, which is most likely Prosecutor James Kennedy. Thing is Alex French did bad things, and well these local officials cooked up a “deal” to call our attack a mosh pit, and go easy on this man, well it is NOT OK. oh and for “most” cases Deputy Prosecutor Ashcraft does not need King James’s ok, hmmm.

  The City of Port Townsend Inflicted Violence on the LGBTQ Community on August 15th 2022. No Doubt about it. Half of the Speakers at the #LetJulieSwim Press Conference were in that community. Don't buy into the City of Port Townsend, Olympic Pride, the PT YMCA, the Quimper Unitarian Universalist Fellowship as being PRO LGBTQ and against violence upon that community.
